Indigenous Arts, Culture and Broadcasting funding round 2009-10
On 16 July 2009, Arts Minister Peter Garrett announced more than $38 million in funding for Indigenous arts, cultural, languages and broadcasting programs across Australia in 2009-10.

Maintenance of Indigenous Languages and Records
Maintenance of Indigenous Languages and Records Program projects include a network of regional and indigenous language centres across Australia, multimedia workshops with young people, publications and support to greater coordination between Indigenous language organisations.
Indigenous Culture Support
The Indigenous Culture Support program supports participation by Indigenous Australians in cultural activities and the transmission of knowledge and skills across generations to build sustainable communities.
Indigenous Broadcasting Program
Indigenous Broadcasting Program provides entertainment, promotes language maintenance and cultural development, and helps disseminate health and education information to Indigenous communities.
National Arts and Crafts Industry Support
On 8 July 2009 Minister Garrett announced funding for activities under the National Arts and Craft Industry Support programs 2009-10 competitive funding round.
