- Artbank supports established and emerging visual artists and craftspeople by buying contemporary Australian artworks and showcasing them through its rental scheme.
- National Portrait Gallery

- The superb permanent collection of images held by the National Portrait Gallery includes a diverse range of subjects who helped to shape the Australian nation and national identity.

- The Department’s Cultural Development Program funds seven national organisations which are centres of excellence in performing arts training.
- Australia Business Arts Foundation

- AbaF is a company of the Australian Government, established in 2000 by the Department. AbaF’s national team is supported by a council and board
of over 90 leading companies.
- Australia Council for the Arts

- The Australia Council is the Australian Government's arts funding and advisory body. It directly supports young, emerging and established artists, as well as new and established organisations.
- Australian Film, Television and Radio School

- Australia's national screen arts and broadcast school.
- Australian National Maritime Museum

- The ANNM aims to bring maritime heritage to life and protect it for future generations.
- Bundanon Trust

- The Bundanon Trust was established in March 1993 to develop Bundanon as a 'living arts centre' according to the principles agreed with the Boyd's, creating a platform for a cultural institution unique in Australia if not the world.

- CAN is an online resource for, and gateway to, Australia’s collecting institutions and their collections.
- Cultural Minister's Council

- The Cultural Ministers' Council (CMC) provides a forum for cooperation and coordination between the Australian Government and state, territory and New Zealand governments on matters relating to the development of the arts and culture in Australia.

- The Cultural Ministers Council provides funding for cultural research through Statistics Working Group (SWG) to the National Centre for Culture and Recreation Statistics, a division of the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
- National Film and Sound Archive

- The National Film and Sound Archive is the national audiovisual archive, playing a key role in documenting and interpreting the Australian experience and actively contributing to the development of Australia's audiovisual industry.

- The NGA was established under the National Gallery Act 1975 to develop and maintain a national collection of works of art and exhibit, or to make available for exhibition by others, works it holds.

- Screen Australia is the Australian Government's primary agency for providing direct funding for the film and television industry. Established on 1 July 2008, it brings together the main functions of the former Australian Film Commission, the Film Finance Corporation Australia and Film Australia Limited.
