Contemporary Music Touring Program
The Contemporary Music Touring Program provides funding support for touring activities to the contemporary music sector. The Program prioritises regional and remote area touring, which may include the movement of artists to, from or around those regions.
It aims to increase access to Contemporary Music for audiences in regional and remote areas.
The program recognises the added expense involved in touring music to remote communities, so additional assistance can be sought through TRAX (Touring Remote Areas).
The closing date for Round 17 applications will be 05 February 2009 (for tours taking place from 1 July 2009).
If you are considering applying for CMTP and TRAX funding please ensure you have read the program guidelines (downloadable from the right of this page) before you contact the program officer. The explanatory notes answer frequently asked questions.
