Review of the Protection of Movable Cultural Heritage Act 1986 and Regulations
A review of the Protection of Movable Cultural Heritage Act 1986 (PMCH Act) and the Protection of Movable Cultural Heritage Regulations 1987 (PMCH Regulations) was undertaken by the department in 2009. A report on the outcomes of the review, which includes a series of recommendations for improvements to the PMCH Act and PMCH Regulations, is now available.
