Visions of Australia and Contemporary Touring Initiative
The Visions of Australia program provides assistance for collecting institutions and other eligible organisations with the costs of developing and touring major exhibitions of Australian visual arts and cultural heritage material across state and territory borders. Regional and remote touring is a priority for the program.
Round 38 for Visions of Australia opens in April 2012 for activity commencing from 1 January 2013.
The Contemporary Touring Initiative assists collecting institutions and other eligible organisations with the costs of developing and touring major exhibitions of contemporary Australian visual arts and craft across state and territory borders. Regional and remote touring is a priority for the program.
Round 10 for the Contemporary Touring Initiative opens in April 2012 for activity commencing from 1 January 2013.
News
On 20 January 2012, the Minister for the Arts announced that eleven arts organisations would receive $1,174,267 under round 37 of the Visions of Australia program and seven organisations would receive $540,633 under round 9 of the Contemporary Touring Initiative.
