Australian dancers and musicians are being encouraged to participate in the Third International Music Festival of Asia-Pacific Countries to be held in Krasnoyarsk, Russia.
The festival will run from 28 June to 4 July 2012 and will feature acts from around the globe including the Philippines, Thailand, Japan, Republic of Korea, China, Bangladesh, India, Mongolia and Brunei.
One world-renowned Australian has already been confirmed for the festival – conductor Tom Woods will conduct the Krasnoyarsk Academic Symphony Orchestra at the festival’s opening concert.

Successful applicants could be eligible for financial assistance from the festival organisers to cover the costs of accommodation, meals and some domestic travel.
The festival is being organised by the Government of the Krasnoyarsk Region with the support of the federal Ministries of Culture, Foreign Affairs and Regional Development. To apply, or for more information, visit the festival's website.
