Indigenous arts, languages and repatriation
Language and art are essential to the wellbeing, culture and identity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities.
The Australian Government supports the repatriation of ancestral remains and secret sacred objects to their communities of origin to help promote healing and reconciliation. We help repatriate Indigenous ancestral remains and cultural material.
