The project will develop a toolkit to promote meaningful engagement for arts and culture organisations working in regional Australia.

1 December 2017

The practical resource will include guidelines, case studies, brochures, videos and web content that can be used to promote good practice in establishing successful partnerships.

The project is an initiative of the Regional Arts Australia’s Regional and Remote Touring Advisory Group and CEOs of the regional arts organisations in each state.

The toolkit is expected to be launched in October 2018 at the Artlands Conference  and will, amongst other things, provide insight into the drivers and challenges for the arts in regional Australia.

Each year the Australian Government provides approximately $3.4 million through the Regional Arts Fund, this includes support for art projects, community-building initiatives and projects of national significance.
