The Australian Government’s Regional Arts Fund (RAF) provides approximately $3.4 million per year to support artists and communities in regional and remote areas.
Regional Arts Australia and organisations in each state and the Northern Territory manage two types of grants – community projects and quick response grants.
The closing dates for community project grants are:
Victoria – Tuesday 13 March 2018
South Australia – Thursday 15 March 2018
Tasmania – Thursday 15 March 2018
Western Australia – Friday 16 March 2018
Queensland – Friday 23 March 2018.
Keep an eye on the Northern Territory and New South Wales websites for their RAF Community Grants rounds which will open later this year.
RAF aims to encourage and support sustainable economic, social and cultural development in regional communities while developing partnerships to support ongoing collaboration.
The Fund also broadens community engagement, increases employment opportunities and helps raise the profile of regional and remote artists.
