The Festivals Australia program provides funding to support individual art projects at regional or remote festivals and significant one-off community celebrations. These projects allow people living in or visiting regional or remote Australia to participate in or appreciate an arts-driven experience.
Support for activities starting from 1 July 2022 is now available through Round 14 of the program.
Activities can include, but are not limited to, a performance, workshop, installation, parade or exhibition held as part of a festival or a significant one-off community event. Activities should support community participation and audience engagement.
Applications close midnight AEDT, 18 March 2022.
If you are located in an area affected by the recent severe weather and flooding and are concerned about meeting the 18 March deadline, please contact the Festivals Australia Team on 1800 590 577 or email us at festivals [at] arts.gov.au.
