Minister for the Arts Mitch Fifield and Minister Assisting the Prime Minister for the Centenary of ANZAC Dan Tehan announced almost $800,000 in funding for community arts and culture projects as part of the Australian Government’s national Anzac Centenary commemorations.
Two projects will receive a total of $350,000 under the Production and Commissioning Fund stream and 12 projects will share a total of $447,696 through the Public Grants Program stream.
The Anzac Centenary Arts and Culture Fund supports community-based projects that explore and engage the ANZAC story. Anzac centenary commemorations will continue until 2018, marking 100 years since Australia’s involvement in World War 1.
