Developed in collaboration with the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), the guide is designed to help you engage with the arts and build knowledge and capability about the sector.
The guide provides practical examples of activities, services and expenses that may be eligible for support through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), and also includes information about participating in the arts recreationally.
It features a range of scenarios about different circumstances and expenses you could experience when seeking a career in the arts, such as modifying equipment, additional training, and short-term hire of mobility equipment. It also has examples of short-term and long-term goals for participants, demonstrating how the NDIS, along with services available outside of the scheme, can help to achieve them.
You can download the guide and find other useful links and resources on our Arts and Disability Hub.
