Art plays an important role in everyday life but we often don’t realise just how much it adds to our work environments. We have created a video with ArtBank to explore how they work with local artists, promote the display of Australian art at home and in the office, and to find out what trends they are seeing.
A unique Government initiative, ArtBank was established in 1980 as a way of supporting artists and giving people an affordable opportunity to enjoy Australian art. ArtBank now has an impressive collection of over 10,000 artworks which are all available for hire.
Organisations and individuals can choose from an extensive range of traditional, Indigenous and contemporary artworks and installations. The revenue generated from leasing is used to support other Australian artists and to grow ArtBank’s collection.
