The Australian Government has announced $125,000 for the national rollout of the portal and the states and territories will collectively match that amount.
Established by Arts Access Victoria, ARTfinder is a comprehensive and accessible online portal with information for people with disability about arts activities, cultural institutions and events.
The national rollout will see ARTfinder map disability-inclusive art programs and experiences in regional and metropolitan Australia, searchable by accessibility, location, cost and artform.
The rollout was recommended in the Evaluation of the National Arts and Disability Strategy, which was agreed at the Meeting of Cultural Ministers in September 2017.
