RANT Arts Ltd is a not-for-profit arts organisation which manages an arts industry network comprising more than 4000 people across Tasmania. It delivers a range of services including project management, business advice and community engagement and is an NDIS approved provider.
In administering the fund, RANT Arts will help to promote Tasmania’s artistic community and support regionally based Tasmanian artists.
Each year the Government provides around $3.4 million through the Regional Arts Fund, which is delivered by Regional Arts Australia through organisations in each state and territory.
The Regional Arts Fund is available through a mix of quick response and community grants for arts projects, professional development for artists and arts workers and community building projects. The program also provides funding for strategic projects that address a particular need in regional areas.
RANT Arts Ltd will deliver the Regional Arts Fund in Tasmania from 1 January 2019.
