The National Gallery of Australia’s Versailles: Treasures from the Palace exhibition is now open, showcasing treasures from Louis XIV to Marie Antoinette for the first time in Australia.
The exhibition gives Australians a unique opportunity to experience French history up close, with over 130 paintings, tapestries, furniture and more on display.
The exhibition celebrates the lives, loves and passions of the people of Versailles through a full program of activities, including music performances and children's programs.
The NGA Play children’s exhibition is free and open from 10am–5pm daily. The NGA Play allows children of all ages to get hands on experience and learn about the art and history of 18th century France.
