The Meeting of Cultural Ministers was a forum for the Australian, state and territory, and New Zealand arts and culture ministers to discuss areas of national and international significance and mutual interest, such as the creative arts, performing arts, Indigenous cultures, film and digital media, and collections.

On the 23 October 2020, National Cabinet accepted the recommendations of the Review of COAG Councils and Ministerial Forums conducted by Mr Peter Conran AM. This included the need to rationalise and streamline arrangements including MCM and subgroups.

The MCM webpages have been archived on Trove, through the National Library of Australia, and include past meeting summaries, publications and statistical reports.
