This webpage is under review. On 23 October 2020, National Cabinet accepted the recommendations of the Review of COAG Councils and Ministerial Forums conducted by Mr Peter Conran AM. This included streamlining arrangements and disbanding a number of forums, including the Meeting of Cultural Ministers. Cultural Ministers have indicated that they will continue to meet informally.

The Meeting of Cultural Ministers is a forum for the Australian, state and territory, and New Zealand arts and culture ministers to discuss areas of national and international significance and mutual interest, such as the creative arts, performing arts, Indigenous cultures, film and digital media, and collections.
