Seven Australian projects will receive funding to help reach international audiences.

The International Cultural Diplomacy Arts Fund (ICDAF) provides funding for unique and diverse Australian talent to showcase their work on a global scale.

Over $700,000 in funding will be shared amongst 7 Australian projects which will foster creative sector exchange, grow international audiences, and enhance Australia's reputation by providing an international platform for Australian arts and culture.

The recipients include:

  • BlakDance Australia (Brisbane, QLD) who have received support for international touring of their work, The Other Side of Me, in the United Kingdom.
  • Monkey Baa Theatre Company (Sydney, NSW) who have received support to showcase their project, Diary of a Wombat, in Shanghai, China.
  • Spare Parts Puppet Theatre Inc. (Fremantle, WA) who have received support to showcase their work, Rules of Summer, in Hong Kong.
  • Stephanie Lake Company (Melbourne, VIC) who have received support to perform their work, Manifesto, at the Cannes Festival de Danse 2026 in France.
  • Australia's entry in the 70th Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, Austria, in which we will be represented by Australian music icon, Delta Goodrem.
  • Performing Arts Connections Australia (Perth, WA) who have received support to deliver the Australian Performing Arts Market 2026 in Perth.
  • Creative Australia (Sydney, NSW) who have received funding to support the presentation of Khaled Sabsabi's work, In Minor Keys, in the main exhibition of the 61st International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia in Italy.
