Expert advisory groups will support consultation on a new National Cultural Policy.
A diverse group of arts, entertainment and cultural professionals have been appointed to provide the Minister for the Arts, the Hon Tony Burke MP, with their perspectives on the feedback and insights received during the consultation on a new National Cultural Policy.
There will be five review panels, one for each of the pillars the consultation is shaped around: First Nations first, a place for every story, the centrality of the artist, strong institutions and reaching the audience.
See our website for details on the 15 experts who will help establish a comprehensive roadmap to guide the skills and resources required to transform and safeguard a vibrant and sustainable sector for the decade ahead.
We are also keen to hear from community members and stakeholders to inform the National Cultural Policy.
Have your say through a written submission or come to one of our town hall events being held across the country.
