The Revive Live program is providing over $500,000 in funding to 2 upcoming music events.
The Next Up Music Awards will receive funding as a new initiative that connects music education, live performance and industry pathways.
The national awards will be open to student and teacher entrants, and will conclude with a live performance event in Sydney in January 2027.
Sound Atlas will receive funding as part of the 30-day Wollongong City Festival commencing in October 2026. Sound Atlas is a curated, multi-venue Australian music discovery forum that expands artist earning opportunities, strengthens venue participation and grows audiences for original contemporary Australian music. This activity will deliver new and diverse Australian live music performances in Wollongong, Thirroul, Port Kembla and Bulli in New South Wales' Illawarra region.
The Revive Live program provides grants to support live Australian music through activities that promote accessibility, audience participation and career pathways for musicians and music workers with disability.
