Provided through the International Cultural Diplomacy Arts Fund (ICDAF), the grants will support 3 of Australia's leading cultural organisations to bring their artistry to the international stage and reach new audiences.

The projects include:

  • Australian Youth Orchestra—to support its performance at the Metropolitan Museum of Arts in New York in the United States on 16 June.
  • Back to Back Theatre—for its performances at the 2026 Festival d'Automne in Paris in November and December, as the first Australian company to be featured as a Portrait Artist at this festival.
  • The Australian Ballet—to support its tour and international debut of Oscar in Berkeley, California and New York City in the United States, and the premiere of a new work by Australian choreographer, Stephanie Lake, in New York City as part of the Fall For Dance Festival.

ICDAF supports activities in Australia and around the world to promote the Australian Government's international arts and cultural engagement and cultural diplomacy priorities. It is part of the National Cultural Policy—Revive.
