    About the program

The Visions of Australia Program provides funding to support the development and touring of quality exhibitions to regional and remote Australia by Australian arts and cultural organisations. Tours must include at least three venues outside the applicant's home state or territory and include regional and/or remote venues. Tour applications must also include venue confirmation forms from each venue, and for development applications, expressions of interest forms from each venue.

The decision maker approves funding under the Program Guidelines based on an assessment by the Department and independent assessors.

    COVID-19 and disaster response

The Department acknowledges the potential and continuing impacts of COVID-19, and natural disasters such as floods and bushfires on all of its programs, including the Visions of Australia program. We wish to assure our stakeholders that wherever possible, the Office for the Arts will continue to provide administrative support for your Visions funded activity and offer flexibility around tour proposals. If you have any queries or concerns please contact the Program Officer at your earliest convenience.
