Not-for-profit organisations such as museums, historical societies or community based organisations actively involved in managing, conserving and displaying maritime collections.
When to apply
Applications for 2017-18 open March 2017.
Funding available
Grants of up to $10,000 are available.

The Maritime Museums of Australia Project Support Scheme is managed by the Australian National Maritime Museum.

Grants of up to $10,000 are available to not-for-profit groups and other organisations to manage, conserve and display maritime collections. The scheme also supports staff or volunteers from remote organisations to spend time learning specific skills and making valuable connections.

The Australian National Maritime Museum and the Department of Communications and the Arts jointly fund the scheme.
