$7.7 million in Revive Live grants will support 110 live music festivals and venues to continue operating under challenging conditions.

Through the Revive Live program, the Australian Government is providing grants of $7.7 million to 110 established live music organisations including 61 festival-based activities and 49 live music venues.

The grants are designed to empower recipients to adapt to market pressures and improve the sustainability of their operations as the live music sector continues to face challenges across the country.

Revive Live is supporting live music in regional, remote and metropolitan areas across the country, reflecting a diverse range of genres, organisations and audiences including First Nations, LGBTQI+, and all age events. It is also funding activities that improve accessibility, creating participation opportunities for audiences, music workers and artists with disability.

The successful applicants include:

  • $60,000 for the Gympie Music Muster in Queensland to showcase First Nations Artists and Emerging Artists at the 2025 Gympie Music Muster.
  • Over $168,000 for the Party in the Paddock in Tasmania to support local and national artists and increase accessibility.
  • Over $64,000 for The Howler in Victoria for sound attenuation, facility upgrades and future marketing.
