The latest Festivals Australia funding round provides more than $730,000 across 25 regional and remote festival projects.
Round 22 of the Festivals Australia program will deliver funding to 25 new projects in regional and remote communities across a range of artistic mediums.
One of these projects, the YoungComformity, is a youth-led live music program supporting young people to participate in the Unconformity festival program in Queenstown (TAS) as musicians, curators and producers.
Also receiving funding is the Four Clans Cultural Dance and Music Project, a highlight of the Malandarri Festival. The project celebrates the cultural identity of Borroloola (NT) through the traditional dance and music of the region’s 4 clans – Yanyuwa, Marra, Gudanji and Garrwa at the Malandarri Festival.
The full list of funded projects is available at Festivals Australia June 2026 round 22—grant recipients.
Round 23 of the program is scheduled to open in September 2026.
