Visions of Australia

Round 21 has now closed. The next round of Visions of Australia is expected to open in February 2026 for projects starting after 1 July 2026.

The Visions of Australia Program provides funding to support the development and touring of quality exhibitions to regional and remote Australia by Australian arts and cultural organisations. Tours must include at least three venues outside the applicant's home state or territory and include regional and/or remote venues. Tour applications must also include venue confirmation forms from each venue, and for development applications, expressions of interest forms from each venue.

The decision maker approves funding under the Program Guidelines based on an assessment by the Department and independent assessors.

Program logos and acknowledgement

The Visions of Australia program logo is used to acknowledge Australian Government support for activities funded under Visions of Australia.

Visions of Australia program documentation including program guidelines and frequently asked questions for the current funding round, is available on the GrantConnect website under 'Grant opportunities'. It is a requirement to read and understand the guidelines prior to applying.

How to apply

• Visit the GrantConnect website to view the program guidelines and frequently asked questions. You will need to register and create a password to access the GrantConnect site.
• Complete a SmartyGrants application form available through the APPLY NOW button below, or through the GrantConnect website. You will need to register and create a password to access the SmartyGrants site.
• You can preview the application form prior to submitting an application.
• You can save an incomplete application and come back to it at a later time, as long as you submit by the closing date. Incomplete applications left in SmartyGrants after the closing date will not be assessed.
