Over $1.1 million will support the touring of five exhibitions and a development project.

Successful projects include exhibitions examining Australian women artists, our growing digital environment and First Nations connection to land, water and ancestors.

The Visions of Australia exhibitions touring program aims to inspire, educate and entertain audiences by providing access to Australian arts and cultural material. Around $2.6 million in support is shared among successful applicants through two funding rounds each year.

Funding through Visions of Australia increases arts access and inspires diverse audiences—particularly in regional and remote communities, with the five touring projects planned to reach 33 venues across the country.

To enable as many Australians as possible to experience quality exhibitions, tours must include at least three venues outside the applicant's home state or territory and include regional and/or remote venues.

The next application round will open in February 2023.
