Find out about accessibility

The following organisations have a range of resources such as checklists, guides and fact sheets. They cover topics like creating accessible arts events, DIY access, accessible marketing and communications, disability employment and the NDIS.

Companion Card

If you are a ticket-selling organisation, consider becoming a Companion Card affiliate. The Companion Card is issued to people with disability who cannot access community activities without attendant care support. The Card entitles the card holder to a second ticket for their companion at no charge at cinemas, music venues, theatres and other cultural venues.

There is a Companion Card scheme in each state and territory. There is a list of participating organisations on each state and territory's Companion Card website.

We will continue to add new resources when they are available. Let us know what resources you would like to see. Email arts.disability@arts.gov.au
